previously reported (see below) for Rutherford's participation,
I now have additional results for you:
Revised national results indicate
that Ramy Youssef (Rutherford) received the GOLD medal in
Interview (Varsity) with a score of 1000.
Ramapo finished fifth (of 17
schools) in the medium on-line competition. Several students
received individual awards:
Luke Menken (Honors): 3rd
place Economics
Thomas Hoesly (Scholastic):
3rd place Art, 2nd place Language, 3rd place OVERALL
Matthew Keller (Varsity):
2nd place Art, 3rd place Language, 2nd place Music, 1st place
Written Super Quiz, 2nd place OVERALL
Waldwick finished 11th (of 19
schools) in the small on-line competition. Two students
received individual awards:

national recognition for their efforts.
You may download the

2009
USAD National Competition, just concluded
in Memphis. Congratulations to Jason Narozny and his Rutherford
team on their 21st place finish (36 teams) and divisional 6th place
(of 13). Among the individual winners are Leland Gill (2nd place -
Honors - Speech) and Ramy Youssef (3rd place - Varsity - Speech).
For Leland and Ramy, these are exceptional accomplishments in an
extremely difficult category.
